Our undergraduate program is designed to ignite your passion for language, storytelling, and media communication and is specifically equipped to place you amidst the best in the industry.
Over three enriching years, students delve deep into the world of English literature and journalism. The curriculum includes a mix of theoretical insights and hands-on practice. From analyzing classic texts to crafting compelling news stories, our program equips students with the knowledge and expertise needed to excel in both fields. During the three years of the BA course, students will be studying 14 papers in Optional English (English Literature) and 8 theory papers and 8 practical papers of Journalism and a compulsory internship in the final year.
Students will also have an opportunity to choose from a plethora of Open Electives such as digital fluency, taxation, financial literacy and the like from other streams alongside Ability Enhancement Compulsory Courses (AECC), Second Language and Generic English in the first two years of the program. In the final year the complete focus shifts to the specialization or core courses.

Students are regularly taken on industrial visits to places such as the press club, media houses, theater companies, cultural and art museums, newspaper and broadcast companies as well as other relevant centers of communication and media. Industry experts regularly interact with the students to keep them abreast with current trends in the field.
