Blood Donation Camp organized by Health Club & Rotract , ST PAULS COLLEGE in association with Prakriya Hospital.

 

On June 26, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., ST PAULS COLLEGE hosted a Blood Donation Camp organized by the Health Club and Rotaract Club in association with Prakriya Hospital. The event aimed to promote the importance of blood donation and encourage students and faculty members to contribute to this noble cause.

 

The camp featured esteemed guests, including the CEO of Prakriya Hospital, Dr. Srinivas Chirukuri, and Rev. Fr. Dr. Thomas M J, the principal of ST PAULS COLLEGE. Both delivered inspiring speeches highlighting the significance of blood donation. Also in attendance were Ms. Savithri C, Faculty Coordinator of the Health Club, and Dr. Prashanth, Faculty Coordinator of the Rotaract Club, along with a representative from Prakriya Hospital.

The event began with the lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the commencement of the camp. Rev. Fr. Dr. Thomas M J emphasized the life-saving impact of blood donation in his speech, aiming to raise awareness and motivate participants. A representative from Prakriya Hospital also demonstrated their support and collaboration for the cause, ensuring a smooth and efficient donation process.

Under the guidance of Rev. Fr. Dr. Thomas M J, and with the active involvement of Ms Savithri C and Dr Prashanth, the Blood Donation Camp concluded successfully. Their leadership and coordination were instrumental in the event’s success.

Outcome  The camp served as a platform to spread awareness about the importance of blood donation and its role in saving lives. The collaborative efforts of the Health Club, Rotaract Club, and Prakriya Hospital resulted in a well-organized and impactful event.
