Christmas Celebrations 2022

Christmas has always been a special time at ST PAULS COLLEGE. The Literary and Cultural Association along with Diversity Promotion Club organized a grand celebration on 22 December to mark Christmas 2022. The day began with the lighting of Christmas candles by the dignitaries and placing of a beautiful image of Baby Jesus in the crib specially set up for the celebration. This was followed by a meaning prayer led by Mr. Melwyn Amrithraj and a melodious rendition of traditional Christmas Carols by the first year students of the college thereafter with a surprise friendly appearance of Santa Claus. The Carols set the tone of the day so beautifully and the gathering felt the presence of the Christmas spirit in their hearts.

The cultural program started as soon as the Christmas crib came alive with the prayerful and joyful ambience. A conversational emceeing script kept the audience engaged. The cultural events commenced with a beautiful Christmas message by Rev. Fr. Dr. Thomas. M. J. The dance team gave an amazing performance for the celebration. This was followed by the theatre team’s outstanding play written by Kartikeya Singh of III BA and performed by the finest actors on campus. Followed by this the winner and runner-up of the board decoration competition were announced and were felicitated by the principal. The program concluded with the vote of thanks by Ms Saranya Francis, coordinator of LCA and DPC. Around 400 people in the audience including students and staff participated in the programme.
