“Innovate to Inspire” – Success Stories from The Brightest Minds

“A Guest Talk” was organized by Department of Computer Science in Association with Institution Innovation Council at ST PAULS College. It was held on 7th November 2024 at the college’s mini auditorium. This event aimed to build teamwork and collaboration among students. The resource person for the day was Mr. Siddu Hiremath, Assistant Chief Technology Officer at SKYLLX, who is well-known for his expertise in fostering technical domains and as well as trainer. Mr. Suhas Aithal V, Assistant Professor Department of Computer Science coordinated the event.

Krishna Manasa, the third-year BSc student, was the emcee for the event, ensuring that the program ran smoothly and kept the audience engaged. The event had a vibrant atmosphere, with students from the 1st-BSc, 2nd and 3rd-year BCA as participants, while the 3rd-year and 2nd-year students volunteered to help with the arrangements and assist in the activities. The event began with a welcome note, followed by an introduction to the day’s agenda. Mr. Prakash V, the Head of the Department of Computer Science, felicitated the Resource person with a memento as a token of appreciation for his valuable contribution to the event.

It emphasizes innovation as the way towards success and a feature of social constructive change. Innovative concepts led to success for both the teams and individuals from horizons across various fields that created ideas, thus inspiring their work, altering courses and industries, improving people’s lives, and others act along with them.

There are innovators of all kinds-from entrepreneurs who disrupt classic business models, scientists and engineers trailblazing breakthroughs in health care, technology, and sustainability. These stories prove that innovation is not only about inventing but also remaking the systems in place, problem-solving in new ways, and turning challenges into opportunities.

All the while in the talk, persistence, creativity, and cooperation take precedence. Innovators often face resistance and setbacks, but through adaptation, resilience, and joint efforts, come up with transformational outcomes. Examples of great leaders who have had to go through trials when their ideas came to life are perfect lessons in determination and the power of a growth mindset.

At the end, “Innovate to Inspire” essentially states an idea that innovation should not be about innovation for the sake of innovation; it should be creating something to make long-lasting differences in the world and inspiring other people to do so. The session inspires this new generation of thinkers, creators, and problem solvers, using their talents to make meaningful changes and shape the future.
