Installation of Office Bearers

The installation ceremony of the new office bearers for the Computer Science Department of ST PAULS  College was held on the 3rd of September, 2024. This event marked the official induction of the new leadership team, aimed at fostering student participation in academic and extracurricular activities within the department. The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome by Abishin from 3rd-year B.Sc, who was the Master of Ceremonies for the day. He welcomed the gathering, which included faculty members, students, and the newly elected office bearers. His engaging introduction set a positive tone for the event.

Arden from the 3rd-year BCA was invited to read the annual report, summarizing the achievements and activities organized by the outgoing office bearers during the previous academic year. A video presentation highlighting these activities was also shown, offering a visual representation of the hard work and dedication of the previous team. The newly elected office bearers were felicitated by the faculty members of the Computer Science Department. Each office bearer was honored with a badge, symbolizing their leadership role and responsibilities for the upcoming academic year. The badges were presented with warm wishes and encouragement from the faculty.

The newly elected Convenor, Ajin from 3rd-Year BCA took the stage to present the proposed activities and plans for the academic year 2024-2025. His presentation outlined a range of initiatives, including technical workshops, coding competitions, industry interaction events, and cultural programs, aimed at enhancing the academic and social life of the department. The Head of the Computer Science Department, Mr. Prakash V, gave an insightful introduction to the Pegasus Association, the official student body of the Computer Science Department. He explained the goals of the association, its role in promoting student leadership, and its significance in organizing both academic and extracurricular events throughout the year.

The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Abhishin, who expressed gratitude to the faculty, students, and all attendees for their participation. Special thanks were extended to the outgoing office bearers for their valuable contributions, and to the newly elected team for stepping up to take on their leadership roles. The event ended on a positive and motivated note, setting the stage for a vibrant and productive academic year ahead for the Computer Science Department.
