PAULARAMBA – 2023

A moment of immense pride and excitement unfolded at ST PAULS College as they inaugurated their Undergraduate (UG) Programmes on the 24th of July 2023. Titled “PAULARAMBA – 2023,” the event took place in grandeur with distinguished personalities gracing the dais.
Presiding over the momentous occasion was the revered Chairman, Rev Fr Dr. Joseph T C. The Principal, Rev Fr Dr. Thomas M J, and the Vice Principal, Rev Fr Dr. Shaiju Joseph, were present, adding to the significance of the event. Along with the Heads of different departments, including Dr. Shailaja, Mr. Jenin Raj, Dr. Babu V, Dr. Trapthi Sharma, and Mr. Melwyn Amritharaj, all of whom play crucial roles in shaping the academic excellence of the college.
The college welcomed a distinguished Chief Guest, Dr. Chetna Lakhotia, a renowned psychologist and academician. Dr. Lakhotia’s expertise and achievements have made her an inspiration for the academic community.

The ceremony commenced with a captivating Invocation Dance, filling the air with vibrancy and enthusiasm. This was followed by an introductory prayer, uniting the audience in a moment of reflection and reverence.
The college, known for its inclusive values, showcased its commitment to diversity by having readings from the Holy Scriptures of three major religions. Students presented readings from the Bible, the Upanishad, and the Quran, symbolizing the college’s belief in promoting interfaith understanding.
The Lighting of the Lamp ceremony took center stage, signifying the illumination of knowledge and wisdom. The dignitaries, along with the students, participated in this sacred ritual, marking the auspicious beginning of the UG Programmes.

Rev Fr Dr. Thomas M J, the Principal, delivered a warm and inspiring Welcome Address, setting the tone for the day and motivating the students to make the most of their educational journey.
Rev Fr Dr. Joseph T C, in his introductory remarks, expressed his joy at witnessing the college’s progress and highlighted the institution’s unwavering commitment to holistic education.
The much-awaited Chief Guest Address by Dr. Chetna Lakhotia touched the hearts of all present. Dr. Lakhotia emphasized the need for mental health and wellbeing, encouraging students to prioritize self-care and mindfulness during their academic pursuits.
A Vote of Thanks was extended by Rev Fr Dr. Shaiju Joseph, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries, guests, and students for making the event a resounding success.
The programme ended with everyone standing together to sing the National Anthem, symbolizing unity and patriotism.
ST PAULS College takes immense pride in inaugurating the UG Programmes – PAULARAMBA – 2023.
