PAULAKALA’25 – An Inter – collegiate Cultural Fest

ST PAULS COLLEGE hosted the intercollegiate cultural fest, Paulakala ’25, on March 7, 2025. The event brought together participants from 30 colleges across Bangalore, celebrating talent and creativity. The day began with an inspiring inaugural ceremony where the principal emphasized the importance of cultural events in fostering creativity, teamwork, and community among students. Participants were encouraged to embrace the spirit of friendly competition.

The fest featured a variety of events, from dance performances to music competitions and a fashion show, offering students a platform to showcase their artistic skills. These events encouraged creativity and teamwork, with participants delivering impressive displays in various artistic disciplines. Dance events were a major highlight, featuring solo and group performances across styles like classical, modern, and contemporary. The energy on stage captivated the audience, reflecting the diversity and richness of the participants’ talents.

Music competitions featured both solo and group performances in Eastern and Western styles. Singers wowed the audience with powerful vocals and harmonious group performances, showcasing their dedication and passion for music. The fashion show added flair to the fest, with participants walking the runway in a mix of modern and traditional outfits. Their creativity and confidence impressed the audience, providing a platform for aspiring designers and models to shine.

The atmosphere at Paulakala ’25 was one of unity and celebration. Students from different colleges cheered for each other, creating a supportive environment. The fest fostered new friendships and connections, going beyond competition to celebrate the diversity of talent across Bangalore. Esteemed guests from the film industry, including director, writer, and actor Shoonya, along with director and producer Pavan Wadeyar, graced the event as chief guests. They shared words of encouragement and praised the organizers for the successful event, offering valuable advice to the aspiring artists.

New Horizon College emerged as the overall winners of Paulakala ’25, earning loud applause for their outstanding performances across various events. The fest concluded with a lively DJ session, where participants, faculty, and guests came together to celebrate the success of the event. The day ended on a festive note, wrapping up a celebration of artistic expression, competition, and unity. Paulakala ’25 was a resounding success, showcasing the immense talent of students and reinforcing the importance of cultural events in fostering creativity and collaboration.
