Yoga Practical Session

Yoga club of ST PAULS COLLEGE organized one day practical session on Yoga for the students and staff. With the aim of helping the students to rejuvenate their body and mind, yoga session was held on 24th June at 11 pm in the auditorium.

Ms. Punidha, Yoga Instructor conveyed to the students the importance of performing yoga and making it as an integral part of their daily life and the benefits derived from it. The session began with warm up stretches and exercises followed by Suryanamaskara, Trikonasana, Baddha Konasana, Parvatasana, Tulasana, BhujangAsana and finally ended with Shavasana. Yoga for relieving stress, reducing joint pain, improving blood circulation, digestion and enhancing the flexibility of the back were done for the benefit of the Students.

The session was very refreshing, reviving and relaxing. Students practiced Yoga with great enthusiasm and dedication.
