Young Communicator’s Club

ST PAULS COLLEGE, Bengaluru set a milestone with the establishment of the Young Communicators Club (YCC) in the campus, in association with the Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) on 02 July 2021. M B Jayaram, Founder, Chairman, and Chief mentor of PRCI, Chinmaye Praveen, National Chairperson and Head, K Ravindran, Senior National Vice-president and Secretary of YCC Board, and Geetha Shankar, Director, Governing Council and President, YCC Board and Fr (Dr) Thomas MJ, Principal were present on the occasion.

“The business that will be the most successful are the ones that adapt to change. You need to engage and collaborate to be effective in communication,” stated K Ravindran in his keynote address. Chinmaye Praveen added, “YCC helps unleash the creativity within yourselves and gives a platform to execute your ideas. It helps you understand who you are and what you are to the society.” In her Presidential address Ms. Geetha Shanker provided valuable tips of self-awareness and self-regulation to the students. The oath-taking ceremony was led by Avinash Gawai, Chairman West Zone, PRCI. “It is indeed a dream coming true for ST PAULS College,” acknowledged Rev Fr Dr Thomas MJ in his closing remarks.

Dr B K Ravi, Professor and Chairman, Department of Communication, Bangalore University congratulated the participants for becoming part of the historical event. Dr Latha TS, State Head, Karnataka, PRCI Chairperson, Bangalore Chapter and Dr Prasanth Venugopal, Director, YCC South were also present at the event.
