Paulakala 25

PAULAKALA is an annual National Level Inter-Collegiate Cultural Fest that provides a platform for the students to showcase their talents. The past Five editions of the event have witnessed more than 1000 students in the campus from over 50 colleges. Paulakala has been in the limelight over the years across the country with a variety of events lined up. As usual, the presence of a celebrity will add colour to the event. It’s our pleasure to invite participants from all over India to join us on 7 March 2025 to celebrate this extravaganza

Duet Dance

  •  Time limit is 4+1 minutes.

  •  Props can be used.
  •  Fire acts, glass acts, sprinkling and spraying anything on stage is not allowed.

    • The All Styles Battle is a 1 vs 1 Battle and is open to all dancers
    • Individual battle
    • Judge’s decision is final.
    • Any vulgarity or profanity of any kind will lead to immediate disqualification.
    • Participants are requested to be on the venue on time.

          • Rules: No explicit songs, Karaoke and instruments are allowed.
          • Karaoke tracks to be submitted during the Registration

            Group Singing (Eastern)

            • Maximum of 2 teams per institution.
            • The teams will be allowed a maximum of 1 minute to prepare the stage and 5 minutes to perform.
            • Each team should have a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 8 members, including the number of accompanists playing instruments.
            • Only genres of Indian regional languages are permitted
            • The choice of the song is open to the participants, but the song should not have any slang or derogatory tone.
            • No Karaoke Allowed.

                      • Note: Audio to be submitted prior, Lyrical songs are allowed but no vulgar words.

                      Rules & Regulations

                      General

                      • Students taking part in the events can register online as well as offline on the day of the fest at the registration desk.
                      • Registration and events begin at 8:30 am.
                      • All the registrations have limited entries on a first come first serve basis.
                      • Overall registration: Rs. 4500/- per college.
                      • For overall registration, contact fest coordinators.
                      • For individual registration, contact specific event coordinators.
                      • Valid college ID card is mandatory for all participants and entry to campus
                      • Vulgarity or obscenity in any form will lead immediate disqualification.
                      • Exceeding time limit will lead to disqualification.
                      • Organisers have the right to reschedule any event.
                      • Organisers’/Judges’ decision will be final and binding.
                      • Coustmes and Makeups should be appropriate and presentable
                      • Any act containing offensive, obscene or disrespectful actions, gestures, or Language will result in immmediate disqualification and may attract a fine
                      • Smoking and consumption of alcholic beverages are strictly prohibited throughout the duration of the event
                      • Participants are responsible for ensuring that the green room alloted to them are maintained in a tidy manner

                        • Contingent

                        • Colleges must register for all the events, to be considered for the overalls
                        • The contingent registration fee is Rs. 5000/-
                        • Contingents registration entitles one team/two individuals to take part in each event
                        • Additional teams/participant(s) will have to register separately
                        • Registration fee is non-refundable.
                        • Overall Trophy is for Winners and Runners
