The Department of Computer Science ST PAULS COLLEGE offers Value AddedCourses in collaboration with IBM to equip students with industry-relevant knowledge andpractical skills in emerging technologies. These courses are designed to bridge the gapbetween academic learning and industry expectations by providing hands-on training, real-world applications, and exposure to advanced technological domains. The programs focus onenhancing students technical expertise, analytical thinking, and career readiness throughpractical-oriented learning. Each course is designed for 40 hours with emphasis on bothconceptual understanding and hands-on experience.

Artificial Intelligence (AI)

The Artificial Intelligence (AI) specialization is designed to introduce students to the rapidly evolving world of intelligent systems and automation. This course provides practical knowledge in areas such as Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and AI-based applications. Students will gain hands-on experience with modern AI tools and platforms while learning how intelligent technologies are transforming industries such as healthcare, finance, education, and business. The course focuses on both theoretical foundations and real-world implementation to prepare students for future careers in AI-driven domains.

Cyber Security (CS)

The Cyber Security specialization equips students with the knowledge and skills required to protect digital systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. The course covers important areas such as Application Security, Data Security, Identity Management, Security Governance, and Cyber Threat Analysis. Students will learn about ethical security practices, risk management, and modern security technologies used in organizations worldwide. Data Science (DS)

The Data Science specialization focuses on transforming raw data into meaningful insights for decision-making and innovation. This course introduces students to concepts such as Data Analysis, Predictive Modeling, Business Intelligence, Data Visualization, and Python-based Data Science tools. Students will develop analytical and problem-solving skills using modern technologies and real-world datasets.
