The Clubs, Associations, Cells and Committees in ST PAULS COLLEGE are en visioned to be a platform for the students to showcase their talents, organizational  skills and to work in a team to meet the challenges of the latest emerging trends  in this competitive world. They function throughout the year and make available  adequate support services to the students and staff of the college

National Service Scheme is Gandhiji's scheme to adopt the youths in creating a better society. ST PAULS COLLEGE aims to instill the idea of social welfare in students to provide service to society without bias. In doing so, volunteers learn to lead a good life with scarce resources. NSS volunteers take up social activities for the progress of the society and not for their personal benefits. They help to create general awareness among the public. Unit will conduct a special camp which will help them to learn about the social and human values that can be adopted in their daily lives.

Thousands of job opportunities are offered to students as officers in government sector every year. UPSC, SSC and state PSCs conduct exams for these posts, and students prepare for them with passion and dedication. Considering the ambitions of the students and the expectations of the parents, ST PAULS COLLEGE trains students to face the real-world competitive exams and help them to master their chosen field.

Management Club is a forum of the students of Business Administration. The students are provided opportunities to develop the managerial and administrative skills through presentations, industry visits, seminars, competitions and lectures. The Club programmes are aimed to develop planning, coordinating and decisions making skills of the students and to equip them to face the challenges of their career. It creates an awareness about the emerging management areas such as behavioral finance, organizational behavior, strategic marketing management, product planning and design, product re-engineering, B to B and B to C marketing, green marketing, lean management, etc. Besides their specialization, the students are also expected to growth in their interpersonal skills and etiquettes which are vital requirements for any business administrative student. Therefore, the responsibility of the management club is to bring the required skills to the students pursuing in management studies and to prepare them to be good and industry-ready citizens.

ST PAULS coined its film club as u2018Cinephelicsu2019, someone who is passionate about films, film theories, film appreciation and film criticisms. The Film club keeps the film enthusiasts alive and loud by discussing films in order to deepen their interests in films. Everybody loves to watch movies and all will have at least one movie to connect with their lives. Movies can be an experience, learning, inspiration, motivation and make an impact in an individualu2019s life. Keeping this in mind, the club takes initiatives to train students in film making by organizing frequent workshops, seminars and practical sessions.

Objectives:

  • To screen films of all genres which can be an experience, learning, inspiration, motivation and make an impact in a studentu2019s life

  • To expose students to the richness and variety of national and international cinema

  • To emphasize the cultural diversity and value education through good cinema

The Sports Club is established to develop athleticism and to keep students healthy in body and in mind. It provides coaching in athletics and games for committed performers. The sports department coordinates inter-collegiate events and intra-collegiate events which help students to perform well in all sports and games events at College, University, State and National Level. Qualified coaches train students in athletics and games like basketball, volleyball, throwball, kabaddi and cricket. The Sports Club takes up the responsibility of organizing the intra-collegiate eventsu2014ST PAULS ATHLETIC MEET and BAT (Sports). Organizing ST PAULS CUP, an inter-collegiate volleyball tournament is also the responsibility of the Sports Club. The club also takes initiatives to organize sports and physical activity to the Govt. School children.

To this end, the fashion club helps students who show passion and interest in fashion to come out and showcase their talents. The club motivates students to be innovative, creative and understand the culture of fashion in todayu2019s fashion world. Students are assisted and encouraged to participate in intercollegiate fashion competitions. The club also trains students in theme- based fashion activities with regard to nature, designs, colors etc.

God has given each of us unique gifts to respond to His call. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we partake in the building up of the Kingdom of God right amongst us. Young Christian Association of Paulites (YCAP) aims to assist the Paulites in their spiritual growth and development. The association collaborates with the management, staff, students and parents to achieve this goal. It organizes a number of activities that include worship and prayer services, community service, music, etc.

Objectives:

  • To enable students to understand that every moment is a Godu2019s special Gift

  • To promote the ideas of faith, knowledge, honour and responsibility

  • To promote Christian and human values

  • To provide opportunities for the Paulites to grow spiritually in their relationship with Jesus Christ

The club conducts activities that aim to polish the presentation and communication skills of students and help them in maintaining a healthy personality, it develops leadership skills in students and does everything in its might to help them overcome the fear of public speaking.

The Computer Science Association of ST PAULS COLLEGE is a platform which emphasises on u201cTechnology for Allu201d, which is a forum that is not limited to people who pursue computer science but all those who have passion for technology irrespective of their course. It serves as an information sharing hub where students brain storm and help each other to get a head start in their careers. The primary objective is to keep the students up to date on the current trends of technology. The association aims to create awareness on key topics such as: cyber-stalking, scams, identity theft, cyber bullying, hacking, honey trap, data manipulation and fraud. Bibliophile the Book Club of the college meets every first Saturday of the month to discuss chosen books and have conversations around authors, characters and the world of possibilities of the written word. The club aims to stimulate book reading habit through ways that are dynamic and ever evolving in the tech era. Rotaract Club of ST PAULS COLLEGE brings together the students to exchange ideas with leaders in the community, develop leadership and professional skills, and have fun through service. The members of the club become Rotaract Members and work side by side with Rotary members and Rotaract members around the globe. Rotaract focuses on the development of young adults as leaders in their communities and workplaces. Clubs around the world make efforts to bring peace and international understanding to the world. The avenues of service include Club Service, Community Service, International Service, and Professional Development. Rotaract Club of the college undertakes various projects for the holistic development of its members.

NCC is the single largest uniformed youth organization of the world which functions to develop qualities of character, leadership, comradeship, courage, discipline, spirit of adventure, secular outlook and the ideals of selfless service amid the youth of the country. National Cadet Corps is a tri-services organization, comprising the Army, Navy and Air Force, engaged in grooming the youth into disciplined and patriotic citizens. Students are enrolled for a period of 3 years. The NCC wing of the college (2 Karnataka Battalion NCC Wing) organizes regular parades with the support of the battalion and cadets take part in camps, certificate exams, etc. The NCC wing is also involved in conducting various events which enable the cadets to be patriotic and socially responsible citizens. Unity and Discipline as motto of the NCC, it strives to be and is one of the greatest cohesive forces of the nation, bringing together the youth hailing from different parts of the country and moulding them into united and disciplined citizens of the nation. The soldier youth foundation in India is a voluntary organization which recruits cadets from high schools, higher secondary, colleges and universities all over India. The Cadets are given basic military training in small arms and drill. The officers and cadets have no liability for active military service once they complete their course. The NCC unit of ST PAULS COLLEGE provides a platform for students to be familiarised with a disciplined routine and life whether or not they might opt for a future career in the armed forces.

The Environmental club of ST PAULS COLLEGE is a voluntary group comprising of students and faculty which promotes participation of students in learning about and working towards the conservation and sustainability of their environment. The purpose of the club is to create awareness of environmental issues such as protection, conservation, preservation and restoration, with an emphasis on educating and empowering students. Students who are interested in environmental advocacy and awareness are encouraged to join.

Objectives:

    To create awareness about water and energy conservation

Skill based education and experiential learning is inevitable in competitive job market across the world. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the department of commerce to impart these skills and equip the students with employability skills in a competitive business environment.

ST PAULS Photography Club was started to provide a professional touch to the budding photographers and to those who have photography in their dream. The club comprises of a blend of students who want to capture and create beauty. It aims to create the opportunities for every student to discover the artist within themselves and also gives them the platform to paint their dreams into reality.

Objectives:

  • To provide a supportive environment for students interested in photography to share their creativity, knowledge and passion for photography

  • To train the students to have an artistu2019s taste for beauty and a poetu2019s expression for emotions which would thereby emulate technical concepts and ideas into reality

  • To encourage students to express their thoughts and emotions through art or photography

  • To make students to learn the transformation of technical facts into real-time applications

  • To inculcate the habit of imagination of beauty and art by empowering them to become young photographers

  1. Organize workshops/events along with Photography Diploma students

  2. Organize sessions on: introduction to photography, basic concepts of photography, basics of lighting, different forms, functions and importance of Lighting, semiotics and analysing visuals and the concepts of photography in different forms.

  3. Club members will be given first preference to shoot for the college events and activities.

  4. Club members can avail 25% discount on photography workshops conducted in the college and will be given permission to take part in any outdoor activities conducted for Photography, outside class hours.

Good health is central to human happiness and well-being. Healthy citizens make noteworthy contribution to the overall growth of the society. The Health Club of the college is a voluntary group that learns, discusses and takes action on issues related to the health and well-being of the staff and students of the campus. The club aims at increasing the knowledge and understanding of health issues that affect not only the students of the campus, but also the people in the neighbourhood, and guide them to adopt healthy behaviors. The club promotes hygienic lifestyle among students, organizes outreach programmes, provides first-aid facilities and challenges the students to take up leadership roles and responsibilities. In collaboration with different NGOs and Hospitals, the Club also organizes FREE HEALTH camps and BLOOD DONATION camps both in the camps and in different villages.
