Compering and Public Speaking club is an initiative taken by ST PAULS COLLEGE to help students master the language and be competent to develop the basic skills needed to prepare and present an effective speech. Students are given opportunities to anchor programmes in the college. They are also assisted and given special training in public speaking to participate in conferences, workshops, fests and other competitions. The activities of the club include presentation techniques, planning and structuring an effective presentation, developing ideas and impromptu speaking, etc.
- To provide students with the practical skills and knowledge necessary to express themselves clearly, with confidence and power, in a variety of speaking situations
- Students will be taught presentation techniques; how to plan and structure an effective presentation; how to develop ideas; effective delivery methods; and how to overcome anxiety, fear and nervousness when making a presentation.
