Course Overview

The add-on certificate program in film-making equips aspiring film-makers with essential skills in storytelling, screenwriting, directing, cinematography, editing, and production. Students gain hands-on experience in script development, camera operation, post-production techniques, and the art of visual storytelling. With the booming film and media industry, this add-on course provides a unique edge, enabling graduates to pursue careers in film production, advertising, digital media, television, and other creative fields.

Program Details

Duration: 120 hours (flexible schedule)

Schedule: Afternoon sessions, Monday-Friday (after regular BA class hours)

Project Development: Dedicated time in the second year to focus on your own film projects.

Industry visits

The program includes a one-week industry immersion trip to SPICE, Mumbai. (Travel and food are not included in the program fee.) We also facilitate a Fuji camera workshop and a one-day workshop by Suchitra Film Society.

Student Project

Non-fiction programming for TV: A documentary/AD film, short fiction film.
All Projects to be entirely developed, scripted, shot and edited by the students.
