Department of Humanities

The Department of Humanities at ST PAULS COLLEGE with varieties of subject combinations that include Journalism, Psychology, English Literature and Political Science gives to our students the best opportunities for learning through curricular as well as extra-curricular activities. The objective of the department is to impart theoretical knowledge blended with practical experience. We guide and enthuse our students to gain a professional touch already at the undergraduate level.

Our students represent and publish research papers in seminars and conferences and have won prizes and awards both nationally and internationally. The Department conducts annual Inter-Collegiate Fest HUMANZA which is a platform for our students to excel in extracurricular activities. MUG SHOT a national level photography competition and BONSAI SHORT FILM FESTIVAL a national level short film competition are among the other initiatives of the department that provide valuable opportunities for exposure and display of talent and creativity.

The department publishes a fortnightly News Letter PAULA PATHRIKA, a daily News Letter DAILY CHRONICLE, a quarterly magazine COSMOS, and ST PAULS TV which covers all the activities of the college and a YouTube channel, DHRISTI, where documentaries on the life of people in and around our college and city are posted.
