The PG Department of Journalism and Mass Communication offers a dynamic curriculum covering newspaper design, advertising, video production, public relations, and corporate communication. About the International Faculty Development Program

The One-Week Virtual International Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technologies in Media and Research is a platform to delve into the transformative role of advanced technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Data Analytics, in media and research.
This program is tailored to provide educators, researchers, and media professionals with the knowledge and skills required to adapt to the dynamic landscape of media and academic inquiry. It focuses on leveraging emerging technologies to enhance media practices, foster innovation, and advance scholarly research.

Objectives

To empower media educators with a comprehensive understanding of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies in media, the program focuses on practical applications in research, storytelling, data visualization, and ethical practices. Its ultimate goal is to foster innovation and effectively address the challenges of misinformation in the digital age.
