National Library Week 2022

The Library and Information Centre at ST PAULS COLLEGE, Bengaluru in association with Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) organized the National Library Week from 14-19 November 2022. The theme of the week was ‘Connect with Your Library.’ Fr. Dr. Sajith Cyriac, Vice Principal inaugurated the event.

On the first day, Mr. Mahesh M S, Librarian conducted an awareness programme on Koha management software and usage of OPAC user interface. It was followed by a Book Review Competition on the second day. Special rare books were displayed from the library collections on the third day. The virtual talk by M S Sridhar on the fourth day highlighted how to write literature review and what resources should be covered. The fifth day was observed as a reverse reading competition. The final day witnessed an essay writing competition. The various competitions helped the students to enhance their critical thinking, analysing skills and reading capacity. The week-long event was coordinated by Mr Mahesh M S and Ms Malini T S.
